This page describes how Cal’s Gift currently works, in plain language, and may evolve before launch. Questions in the meantime: hello@calsgift.com.
What we collect
Account details: when you create an account to send or manage a gift, we collect your name and email address.
Gift & recipient details: when you use the Send flow, we collect the occasion, drink preference, quantity and plan you choose, and the recipient’s name, email, country and (optionally) city so the gift can reach them.
Partner applications: if you apply to become a distribution partner, we collect your name, email, phone, company, country and coverage area.
No payment information yet: Cal’s Gift has not launched. Nothing you submit today is charged, and we don’t collect payment details until that changes.
Why we collect it
To operate this pre-launch interest list, and — once the subscription launches — to fulfil and manage the gift subscriptions you set up.
Sharing
We coordinate deliveries with licensed local merchant partners; we share the minimum recipient details needed to fulfil a gift with them once the service is live. We don’t sell your personal data.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your data, your choices
Email hello@calsgift.com to ask what we hold about you or to request it be deleted, and we’ll action it manually. A self-service export/delete option is planned but not yet built.
